Inclement weather continues to impact services in NSW & linehaul into Queensland.
The safety of our network & customer remains the top priority as out network endeavours to keep freight moving.
Conditions are forecast to continue across the weekend, with road closures & restricted access in place
Additional transit times are anticipated into next week due to a backlog of freight
Impacted areas include:
- NSW North Coast
- Hunter Region
- Freight routes between NSW and QLD
Please find further details below on the impacted areas
- Pacific Highway
- Remains closed in both directions between Coopernook and Glenthorne.
- Rising floodwaters and a further 300mm of rain forecast over the next 24 hours.
- No estimated re-opening at this time
- Taree
- Large parts of the region are inundated, with widespread road closures.
- While river levels dropped overnight, further rain is forecast.
- Deliveries are unlikely to resume until next week.
- Port Macquarie
- Consistent heavy rainfall has caused extensive flash flooding and road closures.
- Rising water in the Hastings River has isolated several areas.
- Evacuation orders are in place for low-lying areas.
- No deliveries can be made until further notice.
- Dungog Region
- Deliveries are currently unable to be completed in the following areas -Hinton, Wallalong, Butterwick, Paterson, Vacy, Gresford (and surrounds), Glen Oak, and Seaham.
- Lismore & Grafton
- Due to the Pacific Highway closure and the use of extended alternate routes, delays are expected
